Sublimation

Sublimation is a coming of age thriller about a fifteen year old girl named Alpha. She’s struggling in school, gets in fights with her mom, and to make matters worse, soon she’s going to be forced to pilot a killer mech for her isolationist space colony. For as long as anyone can remember, people have worshipped the Angels and wielded them against outsiders. But after her first time linking with an Angel, everything that Alpha knows about her home is thrown into question. Everyone keeps telling her that the outside world is full of homicidal maniacs, and people refuse  to question the way things are. Alpha feels trapped and has all but given up, but Darcy, her childhood friend and a nerdy engineer, is trying to find her a way out before her time is up.
